From Pichilemu, head east on Avenida Costanera toward Calle Manuel Rodriguez. Continue on this road which becomes Route G-88. After approximately 30 km, you will reach a fork; take the left fork onto Route G-892-I. Follow this road for about 15 km until you reach Playa Matanzas. There are signs along the way directing you to the beach.

To reach Playa Matanzas from Pichilemu using public transportation, you can take a local bus from Pichilemu to Navidad. Buses depart from the main bus terminal in Pichilemu. The fare is typically around CLP 2,500. Once you arrive in Navidad, you can take a taxi or a shared van (colectivo) heading towards Playa Matanzas. The taxi ride should cost approximately CLP 10,000 to CLP 15,000 depending on the number of passengers.
