Travel Guide to Atabanza Park

Getting There

• TransMilenio

  From anywhere in Bogotá, make your way to the nearest TransMilenio station. If you are near La Candelaria, head to the 'Museo del Oro' station. Take the 'T' line towards 'La Calle 76' and ride for several stops until you reach 'Portal Suba'. At 'Portal Suba', transfer to the 'Suba' bus route (TransMilenio buses are marked with a red color). Get off at the 'Atabanza' bus stop, which is close to the park entrance. From the bus stop, walk about 5 minutes in the direction of the park.

• Bus

  If you prefer to take a regular bus, find a bus stop that connects to the 'Suba' area. Look for buses with signs indicating 'Suba' or 'Atabanza'. Board the bus and request the driver to let you know when you reach 'Atabanza'. Once you arrive, walk approximately 10 minutes to the park entrance.

• Bicycle

  If you are comfortable riding a bicycle, Bogotá has a bike-sharing program called 'BiciBogotá'. Locate the nearest BiciBogotá station and rent a bike. Head northwest towards Suba, following the bike lanes. Use a map or GPS to navigate to Atabanza Park, which is located in the Atabanza neighborhood. The ride may take around 30-40 minutes depending on your starting point.

• Walking

  If you are staying nearby, you can walk to Atabanza Park. Use a map application on your phone or ask locals for directions to 'Atabanza Park' in the Suba borough. Walking will allow you to enjoy local sights along the way and may take approximately 20-30 minutes depending on your exact starting location.
