From San José, take Route 1 (Interamericana) northwest towards Puntarenas. After approximately 90 km, exit onto Route 606 towards Monteverde. Continue on Route 606 for about 35 km until you reach Monteverde. Once in Monteverde, follow signs for 'Catarata Los Murciélagos' or 'Monteverde Waterfall'. The waterfall is located at 620 Monteverde Road. There is a small parking area available near the entrance.

Public Transportation
From San José, take a bus from the Terminal 7-10 to Monteverde. Buses run several times a day and the journey takes approximately 4-5 hours. Once you arrive in Monteverde, you can either take a taxi or a local shuttle service to 'Catarata Los Murciélagos'.
