From Kornati Islands National Park, rent a boat or take a ferry to the nearest coastal town like Biograd na Moru, which is approximately 30 km away. From Biograd na Moru, drive north on the D224 road towards the town of Karlobag. Continue on the D8 road until you reach the turnoff for the D501 road. Follow the D501 road until you reach Krasno, where Northern Velebit National Park is located. The total driving time is approximately 2.5 to 3 hours, depending on traffic conditions.

From Kornati Islands, take a ferry back to the mainland, landing at Biograd na Moru. From there, take a bus to the nearby town of Gospić. Once in Gospić, you can catch a local bus to Krasno.
