Getting There

  • Public Bus

    From the center of Rovinj, walk to the main bus station located on Obala Pina Budicina, near the marina. Look for the bus that heads to Bale. Buses to Bale generally run every hour. Once on the bus, enjoy the scenic ride, which takes about 30 minutes. When you arrive at the Bale bus station, exit the bus and head toward the main road (Ulica 2. Rujna).

  • Walking

    From the Bale bus station, continue walking straight on Ulica 2. Rujna for about 600 meters until you reach a junction. Turn left onto the road called Unnamed Rd. Continue straight for about 2 kilometers. As you approach Barbariga, you will see signs indicating the beach. Follow these signs until you reach Barbariga Beach.

  • Bicycle Rental

    If you prefer cycling, you can rent a bicycle from one of the rental shops in Rovinj. Follow the same route as the bus: head towards Bale via Ulica 2. Rujna. Once you arrive at Bale, continue straight on the road until you reach Barbariga Beach. The entire ride is approximately 8 kilometers from Rovinj to the beach.
