    To reach the Maijasenkylä Nature Trail from Rovaniemi, start by heading north on route 79 (Sodankyläntie) for approximately 2.6 km. Turn left onto Ounasjoen itäpuolenti and drive for 56.4 km, where the road turns into Kittiläntie. Continue for another 21.8 km on Kittiläntie, then turn left into the parking area for the trail. The trailhead is marked with an information board. There are no tolls on this route, and parking at the trailhead is free.
