Car
From Aburi, head southeast on the main road towards the Doryumu Junction. Continue driving for about 20 km. You will pass through several small towns and scenic landscapes. Keep an eye out for signs directing you to the Shai-Hills Resource Reserve. Once you reach Doryumu Junction, take a right turn onto the Tema-Akosombo Road (N2). Drive for about 5 km, and you will see the entrance to the Shai-Hills Resource Reserve on your right. Note that there is an entrance fee of approximately 5 GHS per person.

Public Transportation
From Aburi, take a shared taxi or a trotro (minibus) heading to Accra. Ask the driver to drop you off at the Doryumu Junction. The fare is usually around 2-3 GHS. After reaching Doryumu Junction, you can either take another shared taxi or walk approximately 5 km along the Tema-Akosombo Road (N2) to the entrance of Shai-Hills Resource Reserve. Be mindful that walking this distance may take about 1-1.5 hours.
