Walking
From the main entrance of Tikal National Park, start walking down the main road towards the visitor center. After about 10 minutes, you will reach the visitor center where you can pick up a map or ask for directions. Continue on the main road for another 15 minutes until you reach the junction. Take the left path leading towards the exit of the park. Follow the signs for the exit. Once you exit Tikal, you will need to walk about 1 km towards the nearest main road. Look for local signs to Flores, as Parque Regional Municipal Actún Kan is located just outside the town of Flores. You can expect the walk to take approximately 30-40 minutes.

Public Transport
After exiting Tikal National Park, walk to the main road where you will find a bus stop. Look for a bus heading towards Flores. Buses run frequently, so you shouldn't have to wait long. The bus ride to Flores takes about 30 minutes. Once you arrive in Flores, you can either walk to Parque Regional Municipal Actún Kan or take a local tuk-tuk. If walking, head towards the northern part of Flores and continue until you see signs for Parque Regional Municipal Actún Kan, which is located approximately 1.5 km from the center of Flores.

The ride will take around 20-30 minutes.
