    If you're driving from Hveragerdi, start on the Route 1 (Ring Road) heading west. After about 35 km, take the exit towards Route 41 (Reykjavík) and continue for approximately 10 km. Follow signs for Reykjavík. Once you are in Reykjavík, take a right onto Nauthólsvegur. Nauthólsvík will be on your left after approximately 1 km. Parking is available nearby, but may incur a small fee depending on the area.

    To reach Nauthólsvík via public transport, first take a bus from Hveragerdi to Reykjavík. The bus service is operated by Straeto; you can catch the bus at the Hveragerdi bus stop. Once in Reykjavík, transfer to bus line 14 towards Mjódd. Get off at the Nauthólsvegur stop. From there, it’s a short walk (around 500 meters) to Nauthólsvík. Note that bus tickets cost around 500 ISK for a single ride, and you can purchase them at the bus station or via the Straeto app.
