From the center of Vik, head northeast on Vikurbraut road. Continue walking for about 1.5 km until you reach the intersection with Route 1 (the Ring Road). Cross the road carefully at the pedestrian crossing. Once you are at Route 1, turn left and walk along the road for approximately 1 km. You will see signs for Kvernufoss, which is a short distance off the main road. Turn left onto the gravel path leading to the Kvernufoss parking area.
