Car
From Leh, take the Leh-Srinagar Highway (NH 1D). After approximately 50 km, look for the sign for Likir on the left. Turn left and continue for about 10 km until you reach Likir village. The road will lead you directly to Likir Gompa, which is located on a hilltop above the village.

Public Transportation
You can take a shared taxi or a local bus from Leh to Likir. Shared taxis depart from the Leh taxi stand and take about 1.5 hours to reach Likir. The fare is approximately INR 300-400 per person. Once you arrive in Likir, the gompa is a short walk uphill from the village center, about 1 km. Follow the signs towards the monastery.
