Start at the Drogheda Train Station. Exit the station and head northwest on the West Street. Continue straight until you reach the junction with the R132. Turn left onto the R132 and walk along it. After about 500 meters, you will reach a bus stop. Here, you can take Bus 100 or Bus 101 towards Dublin. Ride the bus for about 30 minutes until you reach Howth Junction. From there, transfer to the DART train towards Howth. Get off at Howth station, which is the last stop. Once you exit the station, turn right onto Harbour Road and follow it until you reach the picturesque Howth Harbour. Continue along the coast, and you will find a path leading up to Shielmartin Hill. The walk to the top will take approximately 30 minutes, offering stunning views of the surrounding area.
