Getting There

  • Walking

    From Drogheda town center, head southwest on West Street towards the direction of the Boyne River. Cross the bridge over the river and continue straight onto the N51. Follow this road until you reach the junction with the R132. Turn left onto the R132 and continue on this road until you reach the bus station. From the bus station, you can take a bus to Dublin city center, which is approximately a 45-minute journey. Once in Dublin, make your way to College Green, where Trinity College Library is located.

    From Drogheda, take a local bus to Dublin city center. You can catch a bus from Drogheda Bus Station (located on the N51). Choose a bus that goes towards Dublin city. The journey will take around 45 minutes to 1 hour depending on traffic. Once you arrive at Dublin Busaras (the main bus station), exit and walk towards O'Connell Street. From there, walk south until you reach College Green. Trinity College Library will be on your left.

  • Train

    Head to Drogheda Train Station located on the R132. Purchase a ticket for a train to Dublin Connolly Station. The train journey takes about 30 minutes. Once you arrive at Dublin Connolly, exit the station and head towards O'Connell Street. Walk south across the river Liffey and continue straight until you reach College Green. Trinity College Library will be located at College Green on your right.
