Getting There

  • Walking

    If you are starting from the Upper Barracca Gardens, exit the gardens and head down the stairs towards the Valletta Waterfront. Once you reach the main street, turn left onto Triq Sant'Anna and continue straight. You will pass by the National Museum of Archaeology on your right. Continue walking until you reach the end of Triq Sant'Anna where it intersects with Republic Street. Turn right onto Republic Street and walk straight for about 5 minutes. Palazz tal-President will be on your left at number 58.

    Starting from the Lower Barracca Gardens, exit towards the main road and turn right onto Triq Il-Lanca. Head straight until you reach the roundabout. At the roundabout, take the second exit onto Triq Sant'Anna. Follow this road as it curves to the left and then intersects with Republic Street. Turn left onto Republic Street and walk for about 3 minutes. Look for Palazz tal-President on your left at number 58.

    From the main bus terminus, exit the bus terminal and head towards the main street, Republic Street. You will see the iconic City Gate ahead. Walk along Republic Street, passing various shops and cafes. After about 10 minutes, you will find Palazz tal-President on your left, right at number 58.

    If you are at the Fort St. Elmo, exit the fort and walk towards the main road, Triq Il-Lanca. Turn left on Triq Il-Lanca and continue straight until you reach the roundabout. Take the second exit onto Triq Sant'Anna, then turn left onto Republic Street. After about 5 minutes of walking, you will see Palazz tal-President on your left at number 58.
