Getting There

    If you're driving from Tequila, head south on Carretera Federal 15 (Carretera a Guadalajara). Continue for about 15 km until you reach the junction for Carretera Estatal 604. Turn left onto Carretera Estatal 604 and follow the signs for Guachimontones. After approximately 10 km, you will see the signs for Zona Arqueológica Teuchitlán. The site is located just off the road. There is a parking area available near the entrance, which is generally free.

    To reach Zona Arqueológica Teuchitlán by bus, take a bus from the main bus terminal in Tequila to the town of Teuchitlán. Buses to Teuchitlán are available several times daily.
