Getting There

  • Walking

    If you are starting from the central location in Maastricht, such as the Vrijthof square, head south towards the Markt. Continue straight on the Meijerij street until you reach the intersection with the Muntstraat. Turn left onto Muntstraat and follow it until you reach the Sint Bernardusstraat. From there, keep walking until you reach the intersection with the Sint Servaasklooster. Turn right, and this will lead you to the Sint Servaasbrug, the bridge connecting you to the other side of the river. Cross the bridge and continue straight onto the Kesselskade. After about 500 meters, you will reach the city center of Sittard. The church is located at Kerkplein 1, which is directly ahead, just a short walk from the main square.

    From Maastricht city center, make your way to the bus station located at Stationsstraat. Look for bus number 10, which travels directly towards Sittard. Board the bus and remain on until you reach the stop named 'Sittard Station'. Disembark and walk towards the center, following the signs for Kerkplein. The total journey should take around 30 minutes. Once you reach Kerkplein, St. Peter's Church will be in front of you.
