After visiting the Arecibo Observatory, head south on PR-10. Continue on PR-10 for about 8 miles (approximately 13 km). Look for signs directing you toward Utuado; you will be merging onto PR-123. Follow PR-123 for about 3 miles (approximately 5 km) until you reach the intersection with PR-611. Turn right onto PR-611. Continue on PR-611 for about 6 miles (approximately 10 km) until you see a sign for Charco Los Morones on your right. Park your car in the designated area, which may require a small parking fee depending on the time of year.

From the Arecibo Observatory, you will need to get to the nearest bus stop that serves Utuado. Walk to the PR-10 bus stop and catch the 'Caribbean Public Transport' bus heading towards Utuado (ensure to check the schedule as this service may have limited hours). After approximately 30-40 minutes on the bus, ask the driver to drop you off at the nearest stop to Charco Los Morones. From there, you may need to walk about 1-2 miles (approximately 30 minutes) to reach the location, following local road signs or asking locals for directions.
