Getting There

    From the central square of Sighisoara, known as Piata Cetatii, head southwest on Strada 1 Decembrie. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with Strada Toma Caragiu. Turn left onto Strada Toma Caragiu and walk until you see the entrance to the Citadel. Enter the citadel area and follow the pathway up the hill. After a short walk, you will see The Ropemakers' Tower on your right, just before reaching the Clock Tower.

    If you're near the Clock Tower, begin by walking down the path that leads towards the old town area. Stay on the main path and look for signs pointing towards The Ropemakers' Tower. After a few minutes of walking, you will find the tower on your left side, situated near the old ramparts.

    From the Church on the Hill (Biserica din Deal), descend towards the lower part of the citadel. Take the path that leads back into the old town, and head towards the main square, Piata Cetatii. Once you reach the square, follow the directions to the Clock Tower, and from there, head towards The Ropemakers' Tower, which is a short walk away, located near the ramparts on the left.
