Getting There

  • Car

    From the Botanic Gardens in St. Vincent, head west on the Botanic Gardens Road. After approximately 1.5 km, turn left onto the Leeward Highway (Highway 1). Continue driving for about 10 km. You will pass through the town of Kingstown and then through several small villages. Keep an eye out for signs leading to Chateaubelair. After about 15 minutes, you will arrive at Dark View Falls, located at 7QXF+JF9, Leeward Hwy, Chateaubelair. There is usually no entry fee, but it is advisable to have some cash on hand for any local vendors or parking if needed.

  • Public Transportation

    From the Botanic Gardens, walk to the nearest bus stop and take a minibus heading towards Chateaubelair. Buses are typically available every 30 minutes. The journey will take approximately 30-40 minutes, depending on traffic and stops. Inform the driver that you want to get off at Dark View Falls. Once you arrive, you may have to walk a short distance to reach the falls from the main road. Remember to have some cash for the bus fare, which is generally around EC$3-5.
