Getting There

  • Car

    From Monte Marino, take the SP1 road towards Rimini. Continue on SP1 for about 10 kilometers until you reach the junction with the A14 highway. Merge onto the A14 highway towards Ancona and continue for approximately 15 kilometers. Take exit 60 for Cattolica/Riccione and follow the signs for Cattolica. Once in Cattolica, follow the signs to Piazzale delle Nazioni where the Aquarium of Cattolica is located. There is parking available near the aquarium, but be aware of potential parking fees.

    To reach the Aquarium of Cattolica from Monte Marino using public transportation, first, take a local bus (Line 161) from Monte Marino to the Rimini train station. The bus ride takes about 30 minutes. Once at the Rimini train station, purchase a ticket to Cattolica. Trains run frequently, and the journey takes around 15 minutes. Upon arriving at Cattolica train station, exit and walk towards the beach area. Follow the signs or use a map app to head towards Piazzale delle Nazioni, where the aquarium is located.
