Walking
If you are starting from the Nova Gorica train station, exit the station and head towards the main road, Ulica Tolminskih puntarjev. Turn left and walk straight for about 300 meters until you reach the intersection with Ulica 1. Maja. Turn right onto Ulica 1. Maja and continue straight for approximately 700 meters. You will pass several shops and cafes. When you reach the roundabout, take the second exit onto Gregorčičeva ulica. Continue on this street for about 600 meters until you reach the junction with Ulica Vinka Gorenjca. Turn left and follow this road until you cross the bridge into Italy. Continue straight, and you will eventually arrive in the city of Udine. Piazza San Giacomo will be located in the center of Udine, just a short walk from the main road.
