From the city center of Port Elizabeth, head to the nearest bus station. Catch a bus heading towards the Walmer area. Make sure to ask the driver if they can drop you off near the intersection of Holkam Rd and 2nd Ave. Once you get off the bus, walk south along Holkam Rd for about 10 minutes until you reach Rietfontein Nature Reserve, located at 138 Holkam Rd. The entrance should be clearly marked.

If you are close to the city center, you can walk to Rietfontein Nature Reserve. Start at the central market square and head towards the south on 4th Ave. Continue on 4th Ave until you reach the intersection with Holkam Rd. Turn right onto Holkam Rd and continue walking for approximately 20-25 minutes. The nature reserve will be on your left at 138 Holkam Rd.

For those who prefer cycling, you can rent a bike from various rental shops in the city center. Head south on 4th Ave and then take a left onto Holkam Rd. Follow Holkam Rd for about 3 km. The Rietfontein Nature Reserve will be on your left at 138 Holkam Rd. The ride should take around 15-20 minutes depending on your speed.
