If you're driving from central Busan, take the Namhae Expressway (Namhae 1ho) south towards Geoje. Continue on the expressway for about 80 kilometers. Take the exit toward Jangmok and follow the signs to Bokhang-gil. Maemis Castle will be located along Bokhang-gil in Jangmok-myeon, Geoje-si. Ensure you have a navigation app handy, as the area can be a bit tricky to navigate.

Public Transportation
From Busan Beaches, head to the nearest subway station and take Line 1 (the green line) to Busan Station. At Busan Station, transfer to the KTX (Korea Train Express) towards Jinju and get off at Geoje Station. From Geoje Station, you can take a local bus (Bus No. 1001) towards Jangmok. The bus ride will take about 40 minutes. Get off at the Jangmok terminal and then it’s a short taxi ride or a 15-minute walk to Maemis Castle along Bokhang-gil.

If you prefer a more direct route, taking a taxi from Busan Beaches to Maemis Castle is a convenient option. Just tell the driver the destination: 'Bokhang-gil, Jangmok-myeon, Geoje-si.' The journey will take approximately 50 minutes depending on traffic. This option could cost around 70,000 to 90,000 KRW.
