If you're traveling by car, start from the center of Yeongnam Region and get onto the Gyeongbu Expressway (Expressway 1) heading north. Continue on the expressway for approximately 90 kilometers. Take exit 27 towards Wonju and merge onto National Route 6. Follow National Route 6 for about 15 kilometers until you reach a roundabout. Take the 2nd exit onto Route 56, which will lead you directly towards Panbu-myeon. After about 12 kilometers, turn left onto Geumdae-ri. Follow this road until you see signs for Yeongwon Sanseong Fortress. There is parking available near the fortress, which may incur a small fee.
