    If you are driving from Nuwara Eliya, take the A5 road towards Kandy. After approximately 30 km, merge onto the A26 towards Badulla. Continue on this road for about 23 km until you reach Ella. From Ella, follow the signs to Kahatagasdigiliya via the B101 road. After about 18 km, you will find a junction. Take the left turn towards Ranpathwila. Continue for another 10 km and you will arrive at Veheragala Sirisangabo Raja Maha Viharaya, located on the right side of the road. Parking is available nearby.

  • Public Transportation

    From Nuwara Eliya, take a bus to Badulla. Buses leave frequently from the main bus station. The journey takes about 1.5 hours and costs approximately LKR 100. Once you arrive in Badulla, transfer to a bus heading to Kahatagasdigiliya. This bus ride will take about 30 minutes and cost around LKR 50. After reaching Kahatagasdigiliya, you can take a tuk-tuk to Veheragala Sirisangabo Raja Maha Viharaya, which is about 5 km away. The tuk-tuk ride will cost you approximately LKR 300.
