Getting There

  • Walking

    Start from the Nuwara Eliya town center, specifically from the post office. Head southwest on the Main Street (A5) for about 1 kilometer until you reach the intersection with the Kandy Road (A26). Turn left onto Kandy Road and continue walking for about 500 meters. You will see a sign for Devon Falls on your right. Follow the signs towards Devon Falls View Point 2, which is approximately 1.5 kilometers from this point. The path may ascend slightly, so be prepared for a short uphill walk.

  • Tuk-Tuk

    From your location in Nuwara Eliya, find a nearby tuk-tuk stand or hail one from the street. Tell the driver you want to go to Devon Waterfall View Point 2. The driver will take you along Kandy Road (A26) for about 3 kilometers. You will pass the Nuwara Eliya Golf Club and the famous Lake Gregory. Once you reach the sign for Devon Falls, the driver will drop you off at the entrance to the viewpoint. The total journey should take around 10-15 minutes depending on traffic.
