From the Zermatt train station, head northwest on Bahnhofstrasse towards the Matterhorn Glacier Paradise. Continue walking straight until you reach the main square, known as Kirchplatz. From Kirchplatz, take the path leading towards the east, following the signs for the Gornergrat Bahn. After approximately 10 minutes, turn left into the street called Spissstrasse. Continue straight until you reach the end of the street, where you will find the Gornergrat Bahn railway station.

Once you arrive at the Gornergrat Bahn station, purchase a ticket for the Gornergrat train. This scenic train ride takes you up to the Gornergrat summit, which is approximately a 30-minute journey. Enjoy the breathtaking views of the Matterhorn and surrounding peaks during the ride.
