Getting There

  • Walking

    If you are in the Al Ain city center, head east towards Sheikh Zayed Road. Walk along Sheikh Zayed Road until you reach the intersection with Mohammed Bin Khalifa Al Nahyan Street. Turn left onto Mohammed Bin Khalifa Al Nahyan Street and continue walking straight. Al Jahili Fort will be on your right-hand side after approximately 1.5 kilometers. The walk should take around 20-25 minutes.

    Board the public bus from any major bus station in Al Ain. Look for buses heading towards Al Jahili area. The bus will take you along Sheikh Zayed Road, and you will want to get off at the nearest stop to Mohammed Bin Khalifa Al Nahyan Street. After disembarking, head south on Mohammed Bin Khalifa Al Nahyan Street for about 500 meters. Al Jahili Fort will be on your left. The bus ride usually takes around 15-20 minutes, depending on traffic.
