Experience Loch Lomond Shores

Getting There

  • Car

    If you are driving from Rothesay, take the A886 road to the north. Continue on the A886 until it merges with the A83. Follow the A83 until you reach the junction with the A82. Take the A82 south towards Balloch. After approximately 12 miles, you will see signs for Loch Lomond Shores. Turn left onto Ben Lomond Way to enter the site. Note that parking is available on-site, but there may be a parking fee.

  • Public Transportation

    To reach Loch Lomond Shores via public transport from Rothesay, take the ferry to Wemyss Bay. Once at Wemyss Bay, board the train to Balloch. The train journey takes about 45 minutes. After arriving in Balloch, exit the station and walk towards the waterfront, following the signs for Loch Lomond Shores, which is about a 15-minute walk. Alternatively, you can take a taxi from Balloch train station to Loch Lomond Shores, which will be quicker but will incur a fare.
