Getting There

  • Bus

    From Edinburgh city center, make your way to the bus stop at 'St Andrew Square'. Take bus number 101 or 102 towards 'Flotterstone'. The journey will take approximately 45-60 minutes. Ensure to check the bus schedules, as they can vary. Get off at the 'Flotterstone' stop. From there, follow the signs towards Pentland Hills Regional Park, which is a short walk from the bus stop.

  • Train and Bus

    Head to Edinburgh Waverley train station and take a train to 'Balerno' station, which usually takes about 30 minutes. Upon arrival, exit the station and take bus number 44 or 45 towards 'Flotterstone'. This bus will take you to the 'Flotterstone' stop, where you can follow the signs to Pentland Hills Regional Park. The total journey may take around 1 hour and 15 minutes.

  • Walking

    For the adventurous, you can walk to Pentland Hills Regional Park from the city center. Start at the Scottish Parliament and head towards Holyrood Park.
