If you are traveling by car within the Isle of Jura, start from the main settlement, Craighouse. Head south on the A846, following the signs for Port Askaig. After approximately 20 minutes, you will reach the ferry terminal at Port Askaig. Take the ferry to the mainland at Kennacraig. Once you arrive at Kennacraig, follow the A83 towards Lochgilphead. Continue on the A83, then take the A816 towards Kilmartin. Carnasserie Castle is located just off the A816, approximately 5 miles from Lochgilphead. There is a dedicated parking area near the castle, allowing for easy access to the site.
