If you're driving from Peebles, start by getting onto the A72 road heading southeast towards Innerleithen. Stay on the A72 for approximately 14 miles until you reach the intersection with the A703. Take a left onto the A703 heading towards Galashiels. Continue on the A703 for about 9 miles, then take the exit onto the A68 towards Jedburgh. After around 5 miles, take the exit toward Kelso and merge onto the A699. Follow the signs for Kelso and as you approach the town, take a left onto the B6401. After about 2 miles, look for signs directing you to Hume Castle. The castle is located at the address Kelso TD5 7TR, and there is a small parking area nearby.
