Getting There

• Bus

  From Dalat city center, head to the Dalat Bus Station (Bến Xe Đà Lạt), which is located at 1 Trần Hưng Đạo Street. You can either walk there, which takes about 20-30 minutes, or take a local taxi or motorbike taxi (xe ôm). At the bus station, look for buses heading to Đức Trọng District or specifically to Pongour Waterfall. The bus ride will take approximately 30-45 minutes. Make sure to tell the driver your destination, as some may not know 'Pongour Waterfall' specifically. Get off at the stop nearest to the waterfall entrance, which is usually well-marked by signs.

• Motorbike

  Rent a motorbike from a local rental shop in Dalat. Navigate to Trần Hưng Đạo Street and head south towards Quốc Lộ 20. Follow Quốc Lộ 20 for about 30 kilometers (approximately 40 minutes) until you reach the signs for Pongour Waterfall, which will be on your right. Turn onto the road leading to the waterfall, and continue for about 5 kilometers until you arrive at the entrance. Parking is available near the entrance.

• Bicycle

  For the more adventurous, consider renting a bicycle. Start from the center of Dalat and head towards the south along Trần Hưng Đạo Street. After about 2 kilometers, take a right onto Quốc Lộ 20. Follow the highway for approximately 30 kilometers. Be cautious of traffic and make sure to bring water and snacks. When you see the signs for Pongour Waterfall, turn onto the road leading to it and cycle the remaining 5 kilometers to the entrance.

• Tour Group

  Join a local tour group that offers trips to Pongour Waterfall. Many travel agencies in Dalat provide half-day or full-day tours, which typically include transportation, a guide, and sometimes meals. You can find these agencies around the central market area of Dalat. Make sure to book in advance, especially during peak tourist seasons, as spots can fill up quickly.
