From Tay Ho District, head south on Xuân La Street toward Võ Chí Công Street. Continue straight for about 1.5 km until you reach the intersection with Võ Chí Công. Turn left onto Võ Chí Công and walk straight for about 1 km until you reach the bridge over the Red River. Cross the bridge to enter Ba Đình District. After crossing the bridge, continue on the road and look for signs directing you towards Hoàng Diệu Street. Once you reach Hoàng Diệu, turn right and walk approximately 300 meters until you arrive at the Imperial Citadel of Thang Long, located at 19c Hoàng Diệu.

Bicycle
Rent a bicycle from any rental shop in Tay Ho District. Start by heading south on Xuân La Street and follow the same route as outlined for walking. Bicycles can navigate the streets easily, and you can enjoy the scenery along the way. Make sure to lock your bike at a designated area near the Imperial Citadel. The total distance is around 3 km and should take approximately 15-20 minutes.

Public Bus
Locate the nearest bus stop in Tay Ho District. Take bus number 33 from the stop (check the bus timetable for exact times). This bus will take you towards Ba Đình District. Get off at the 'Hoàng Diệu' stop. From there, walk approximately 5 minutes south on Hoàng Diệu Street to reach the Imperial Citadel of Thang Long. The bus fare is around 7,000 VND (about 30 cents USD).
