Bell Tower of Vilnius Cathedral

When the sun goes down and Vilnius crosses over to the dark side, meet a local guide with a red umbrella nearby the Cathedral Belfry and enjoy an evening tour full of real town stories, myths and legends. At first get acguainted with Vilnius Cathedral and its square – the main city place for ages and the origins of Vilnius foundation. Here you see probably the sixth version of Cathedral with left Gothic, Romanticism, Baroque and Classicism signs, which was the main Lithuanian Pagan Shrine in former times. Now you can see inside a magic painting of St.Casimirus and hear a mystic legend about it.

Lower Castle Museum (Zemutines Pilies Muziejus)

On the Western corner of the Lower castle you will listen to a tragic love story of Lithuanian Grand Duke and his sorrow after his wife‘s death. The yard of this Castle also keeps many secrets of Vilnius wars, deseases and a lot of graveyards.

We enjoyed a very entertaining and informative walk through the dark side of Vilnius. Sam made us shiver a few times and did lots of impressive impersonations supported by eye rolling and so on. We spend a great evening and highly recommend the tour! Michaela and Frank from Germany

Vi bestilte samme dag, og fikk bekreftet av guiden at vi kunne møtes kl. 21.00. Det var kun oss to og guiden. Dette var over all forventning! Samuelis var utrolig morsom og gjorde dette til en kveld vi aldri kommer til å glemme. En fantastisk måte å oppleve gamlebyen i Vilnius på. Vi fikk høre spennende historier om plassene vi var på, så vi kunne se for oss hvordan det en gang har vært i byen. Vi var også innom en kirke, og ned i kjelleren, hvor vi fikk høre en historie om en kvinne som ble gravlagt der. Samuelis var engasjert og fikk oss til å føle at vi var med i historiene. Anbefaler å ta denne turen på kvelden, så det er litt mørkt. Dette gjorde det ekstra spennende!
