I don’t recommend taking the private tour with Amsterdam Boat Experience. We were expecting a guided tour through the canals but we didn’t receive any explanation. And the boat was not as describe or seen in the pictures. We were kindle welcome to the boat and showed where the wine, beers, and soft drinks where and that was the only explanation we receive.

The boat had a malfunction we didn't even make it 20 minutes. The operator does not work for Amsterdam Boat Company. She felt very bad. We were dropped off on the canal sidewalk. It took me multiple tries to get in touch with the tour operator. Pretty inexcusable. They should have contacted me as soon as the trip was canceled.

overall the tour was good. we had a small speaker that we wanted to listen to music at low volume. but that was not allowed. Besides that, the tour guide was good and the tour was nice. also, the boat was open as seen in photograph. it was really cold. so check weather before you book it

My family had a wonderful evening canal cruise with Remco! This was the perfect activity for our first night in Amsterdam and I would highly recommend it.

Had a great time, did the 2hours canal tour which was perfect, very relaxing. Easy to find, good website instructions.Staff was friendly and had planned for umbrellas which was appreciated as it was very hot. Drinks were ok just classic heineken soft drinks & sauvignon. Would have liked to be able to choose other options.

Positives; The boat left of time and it was a nice boat. Negatives: 1. Our skipper Carlos, didn't speak at all during the whole trip and didn't provide any information of the sights, or Amsterdam in general, he just literally didn't speak at all. ( he was smiley and positive attitude). 2. VERY VERY HOT and no rooftop on the boat, no option of having a bit of shadow during the whole trip.

It was a great trip, great snacks and delicious drinks. The boat was very cosy. The only criticism: we booked an extra guide in German, but only the very nice skipper was on board. It's a pity, even for the extra money paid for it.
