The guide was excellent, the trip amazing!!! A lot of beautiful places to see and take a great picture!!!

Comfortable ride, excellent driver and guide. Not much to see due to snowfall, wind. We wish we had known that this trip would be empty handed, the purpose to see mount Rainer was only limited on pamphlet. People who had not seen snow before loved the snow.

Great views and stress-free tour experience. Our experienced tour guide Jennifer was very knowledgeable about the park and Seattle. Her bubbly and friendly personality made the trip much more enjoyable and educational.

Chen was a superb driver/guide. On-time pickup. Pulled out the sliding step to make it easy for me to board the van. Stopped at grocery for all of us to buy lunch since Mt. Rainier had no food outlets. Then, in the national park, stopped at three spectacular overlooks. Happily took our pictures and passed out waters. These small actions were extras but so appreciated. At the visitor center, we had the option to hike. The visitor center was closed so we walked and others hiked up in the snow. Chen took care of all of our varying needs - sit in the van, walk a little, hike a lot, more water. Another rest stop before headed home (deeply appreciated!). BUT then: two very unpleasant minutes. As we prepared to leave, he asked to collect the “service fee.” He said it was on the website: $12 minimum per person. It is NOT on Viator’s website or the instructions from Jupiter Tours. Viator says “gratuity not included.” We normally tip heavily for a 9-hour tour with courtesies and information all through it. We did not, this time. If he wants to impose a service fee, we of course will pay it. The whole tour experience was terrific. Service, information, and sights.

It was a delightful experience to venture beyond the confines of Seattle and immerse myself in the resplendent beauty of the natural world.

It was a super bad experience. Our guide, I don’t think he’s a real guide, he’s only a driver knew nothing about the national park, have us 0 info about anything on the way or in the park. We get to the national park and he tells us the paradise loop is shut and we will be at the longmire museum for 2 hours. Per the itinerary we were supposed to be at the museum for 20 mins then see a waterfall and then go to paradise. Paradise is the main place to go and that was closed. The tour operator should have informed us & cancelled the tour. It was a horrible experience, waste of money and then I even had to tip.

Duan was a wonderful guide. Pickup went smoothly and he was very communicative. Duan was so kind, helpful, and knew a lot about the mountain and area. He knew the best spots for good photos and was adamant about keeping us all safe which was fantastic. Highly recommend this trip !

We did not get to do what we paid for. Our guide was not suitable for the trip, she knew it would snow, didn't know how to put tire chains on her tires, after we helped with chains, and asked strangers to help, we learned that the chains were not for her car's tires. Wasted time, stressed and didn't get to explore. Disaster of a trip. I cannot belive that these guides are not trained with basic job skills required to take tourists exploring during winter. Beyond disappointed.

First of all, the meeting point was far away from the city (20 minutes away with the highway) and I had to pay 70$ for an Uber. Not what was written in the description (transfer included from most Seattle neighborhoods). It was raining a lot and the guide (Theo) told us on the way that the top of the mountain is closed but that we would be able to see other parts of the mountain, including waterfalls etc. I was already wondering why they didn’t cancel the excursion. When we got there, I understood that we would only stay at the very base of the mountain. He told us to go to the tourist point or « museum » and spend some time there (it was a tiny museum with signs of what we would be able to see on the mountain like animals and rocks and he didn’t even explain anything to the Chinese tourists who couldn’t read the signs in English). So we did a 5-10 min tour of what was present there at the base of the mountain - trees and little fountains - and he said we could climb the trees that fell. He didn’t explain anything about the nature or anything. Just like « oh look at this red root » and wasn’t able to explain war it was. He wasn’t a real guide, he was an IT guy doing that on the side. It was raining a lot and he said we should eat in the car. I said that I didn’t want to and he proposed to go eat outside of the local hotel. He gave us 45 minutes to go to the gift shop and do whatever we wanted (we were just protecting ourselves from the pouring rain). Then he said that the waterfall excursion was canceled because of the rain and that we had to go back. We barely stayed there. We basically just went there to go to a gift shop and have a quick lunch in front of the Mount Rainier under the pouring rain. It’s like paying to go to Disneyland to just end up in the gift shop. He should have canceled the trip knowing the road was closed and the bad weather conditions but I guess he just wanted the money.

Getting stock on ice for over 20 min. Raining inside the vehicle. Pushing the van to be able to get on the road. Praying for my safety. Unable to finish my tour.
