Visit to the vineyard of Friulano, Malvasia and Ribolla Gialla, which gives life to our Carat, where the processing / management of the "natural" vineyard, the composition of the soil (Collio area, schistose sandstone marl), age of the plants and the importance of the very limited yields, the history of this wine and of the other native Friulian vines. Visit to the cellar, where the whole process of the natural transformation of a single ingredient is illustrated: grapes into wine ... without the use of selected yeasts, aging in barrels, native woods for the aging of wines, natural stabilization of wines, no filtration. .. Tasting and tasting of the following wines: Carat (blend of Friulano, Malvasia and Ribolla Gialla) Verduzzo (strictly dry) Schipettino Pignolo (with at least 10 years of aging in wood ... it could also be a barrel test) Accompaniment: plate of local cold cuts and cheeses
