With a guaranteed window seat on all our flights sit back and take in the majesty of Australia's largest National Park whilst absorbing the informative commentary. Kakadu enjoys two major climatic seasons, the "Wet" and the "Dry" season. Commencement and termination of Wet & Dry seasons by month for our flights are determined by the weather. If you are visiting in a transitional period E.G November/ May and you have your heart set on a certain flight path, it is best to contact the Kakadu team direct to confirm. Dry season (approx June - November) View Jim Jim creek before Deaf Adder Valley, see the sacred site of Lightning Dreaming, then onto Arnhem Land Plateau, Mt Brockman, Ranger Mine, and Jabiru Town to see the famous Crocodile hotel. The art site of Nourlangie Rock is next, finishing with the Permanent waterholes, the windy South Alligator River, Floodplains and stunning Tributary. Wet Season - (approx December - May) Heading over Jim Jim Creek to the magnificent Twin and Jim Jim Falls, view the Arnhem Land Plateau on your way to Double Falls. See amazing variation in land forms over Deaf Adder Valley, Hole in wall, Lightning Dreaming and Nourlangie Rock. Flying home over dreaming waters (Deep water billabong), floodplains and the spectacular South Alligator River.

Check In: All flights require a check in 30 minutes prior to the advertised departure time. A late departure is likely to affect passengers on following flights. Our Goal is to remain on time, if your arrival is likely to be delayed please inform us urgently, we will offer you alternative options.

Minimum numbers apply. There is a possibility of cancellation after confirmation if there are not enough passengers to meet requirements. In the event of this occurring, you will be offered an alternative or full refund. A minimum of 4 people per booking is required.
Flights are subject to favorable weather conditions. If canceled due to poor weather, you will be given the option of an alternative date or full refund
All passenger weights MUST be advised at time of booking. Please don’t be offended or concerned, Kakadu Air operates light aircraft, take-off weight is a safety issue, we will not fly over weight, or compromise safety.
Due to the safety and weight / balance of the aircraft, we have a weight limitation of 130kg. If you are this weight please contact our reservations direct.
The Company reserves the following rights, to cancel, or to postpone any flight without notice should a circumstance occur that might represent a threat to the safe conduct of the flight or tour.
Reservations cancelled inside 24 hours from departure will forfeit payment in full.
Kakadu Air respects the “Kakadu National Park managements” voluntary code of conduct known as the “The fly neighborly policy”. This policy limits flights to a certain minimum height above terrain, and distance lateral from about 30 locations in Kakadu. Jim Jim and Twin falls are two of these locations. These Falls are viewed freely in our WET SEASON flights as the roads are closed. In the DRY SEASON when the roads are open there are no flights over Jim Jim and Twin Falls.
The Company and the pilot in command may refuse the carriage of a passenger, if that passenger could be regarded as likely to cause annoyance or offence to, or threaten the safety of the flight or any person on that flight.
In refusing service to any person or persons for reason of drunkenness, annoyance, offence, or threat to flight passengers or crew, the company refuses liability for any inconvenience or cost related to our refusal for the passenger or freight to travel.

We really enjoyed our scenic flight our pilot was great , friendly and knowledgable about the area, despite only having lived in NT for 2 years. It was lovely to see Kakadu from a different perspective. We had only a short time in Kakadu so this gave us a look around a lot more than we could have otherwise seen.

Had an amazing experience with Ben our pilot. Very happy with the flight over Kakadu wetlands. Ben's commentary and knowledge made for an awesome flight. (thank you Ben!!) Did try for the 1 hour flight over waterfalls but was not able to secure a booking. So glad we didn't as this 30 minute flight was probably more spectacular. I am not a good flyer and there was some turbulence; managed to last 20 minutes before starting to feel "green"...lol Would do it again, was an amazing way to see Kakadu.

Pilot James was very informative both prior to and during the flight, inviting questions along the way. Magic part of the world to see from the air. You get a whole new perspective of how rugged and remote and awesome Kakadu National Park is.

The pilot was great and super awesome with our 10 year old for her first time on a light aircraft. He knew lots of the area and was continually checking to make sure we were comfortable. The views of Kakadu were phenomenal, such a privileged to see things from the air, then later tour them on foot. Puts a whole new perspective on things. Awesome!
