Our guide, Wayne, was incredible! It was thoroughly enjoyable and he was very cognizant of his guests. He supplemented the factual information with amusing narrative stories that he had found from his research. It was totally worth our time to take this wonderful walking tour. I’d recommend it to all visitors.

Despite the record high temperatures, we had a good experience on the walking tour of Alexandria. Our group was fairly small due to the heat, but tour guide Tim (who is also the owner/operator) is engaging, humorous, and informative. Although Tim has only lived in the area for several years, you get the sense that he has quite a depth of knowledge about Alexandrian history. He is able to answer follow-up questions with sufficient detail.

Our family opted for the private history tour of Old Alexandria and it didn't disappoint. It was worth every penny. Wayne Kehoe was our guide and he was very enjoyable. You can tell he has a love and passion for American History.

Tim, our tour guide, was in contact prior to arrival at the designated departure spot to make sure we knew where to meet. His fun, engaging personality made all feel welcome and included. He turned what could have been a boring stroll into a fascinating, well-researched and educational highlight of our DC trip. Tim's knowledge absolutely brought this vibrant, historic city to life. I highly recommend the tour to anyone interested in learning Alexandria's place in the formation of our country. It's history, people, architecture and culture are a must see!
