This was a truly wonderful day! Dave is extremely warm and welcoming, and made a point of getting to know each and every person on the tour. By the end of the day, our group felt like a happy little family. Seeing the wombats and kangaroos was unforgettable! The wombats are pretty chill, and let you get pretty close for some amazing pictures. We got super lucky and got to see a mama wombat grazing with her lil' joey. While the wombats and kangaroos were the main event, the day as a whole was really nice. Other highlights (pictured below) included a wonderful lunch at the Robertson Pie Shop, and a few beautiful scenic stops at waterfalls. If you're visiting Sydney, you absolutely must book this extremely memorable experience. Thanks again, Dave!

The experience was great! Dave is a great tour guide. He was so knowledgeable about everything we saw. But more importantly you could tell he was excited to show us Australia. This made it even more fun because you can tell he loves what he does. You’d imagine he could get bored doing it day after day. But that wasn’t the case. So that made it fun. He also was very personable getting to know each of us. He also remembered all our names which added a nice touch to the trip. He made sure we got plenty of photos with the wombats and kangaroos too. He also took us star gazing and to see some bats. He even provided extra coats if someone was cold. I’ve been on several of these types of tours in many counties. This is the first one I felt like more than just a person in the crowd. Really fantastic. Also great jokes and guessing the Australian slang was fun!

We were looking for a day trip out of Sydney and Dave's Wild Wombat tour popped up. It was highly reviewed and our sons thought it would be great to see wombats. It was so much more than that. Dave is knowledgeable of the area and all of the sites we visited, his bus is clean, comfortable, and he provides all of the snacks and drinks you need for a day trip. The meals were included. The pies were delicious and the pub we ate dinner at was the perfect end to the day. Of course, there were plenty of wombats, kangaroos & other wildlife along the way, we even got to see hundreds of flying fox! Dave is the perfect guide for a day trip outside of Sydney and I cannot emphasize enough what a great time we had. If I could give him more than 5 stars, I would. Thank you Dave for making our trip so much fun!!

We really enjoyed the trip. We saw beautiful waterfalls at 2 National Parks and of course got to see a ton of wombats and kangaroos. A must do for animal and nature lovers.

Dave took us to some great natural viewpoints and a quaint lunch before smthe highlight of seeing kangaroos and wombats. Although we were a group Dave made it very personalized. He was ready with snacks and drinks and even had extra jackets for anyone not ready for the colder June weather. A long but interesting day. You get taken care of the whole trip.
