This was an awesome private tour of the Garden of the Gods. You learn about the landscape and see some cool fossils that are built into the landscape. You see stuff that you would probably walk right by if you weren't paying attention. Eric is a great guide, it's definitely worth it. It's an easy walk too.

This tour was spectacular. Eric had really great information to share, and he shared it in such a way that a non-geologist could understand all that is going on in the rock. Erik was also very hospitable and relaxed with us. I would highly recommend taking a tour with him. You will not be disappointed.

It has been a couple of months since my trip to Colorado. My friend and I are still raving about our private geology professor! He is a great educator and adapts wonderfully to the level of his audience. He took us to places away from the crowds and we learned so much more that we would have reading guide books and signs.

Eric was wonderful, his knowledge of the area / geology / history is very impressive. He did a great job of keeping everyone engaged and excited about learning about the history of the pikes peak region and how the garden of the gods became such a special place. We love taking tours like this all around the world and Eric is one of the best, you will not be disappointed young or old (our party ranged from 18-80).

Eric was absolutely amazing! He was so informative, passionate, and engaging. He breaks down complex geological information about the Garden of the Gods in a way that any layperson can understand it. We walked around the park, traveling through time, learning about the rock formation through the various eras. He tailors the tour to the group. I can’t recommend this tour enough.

This was a great program. I signed up my family because my husband loves rocks. Our guide was very knowledgeable, teaching us about the land, rocks and fossils over the past millions of years. Fascinating! Felt he customized our lesson based on our previous knowledge, interest and questions. We will definitely pay more attention when we are hiking in the future, looking for hidden treasures. Thank you, Eric!
