On the hour we invite you to board our transfer vessel the Ocean Quest, which will take you to the submarine. Sit back and enjoy the brief boat ride to the Atlantis dive site along the scenic coastline, as the professional crew welcomes you and gives a
safety briefing. The vessels tie up alongside each other and you make the easy transfer from the Ocean Quest to the Atlantis Submarine. After securing the hatches and being seated in the air-conditioned comfort, the call is made to: “Dive! Dive! Dive!” You are now fully submerged in the aquamarine Caribbean Sea with large viewports all around, as curious exotic fish peek in at you and sea fans sway. This unique “must-do” undersea voyage, can take you to a shipwreck and to depths of 150 feet, which in the past has been reserved only for scuba divers. A knowledgeable co-pilot narrates the 40 minute underwater adventure and will help you to identify the amazing sights on the other side of your window.

First time in a submarine and it was fabulous experience. Saw a ship wreck, turtles, barracuda and lots of fish. Super friendly crew and you get your own sitting spot and window!

This trip COULD have been amazing. I say that because our side of the submarine did not have a view of the reef. We repeatedly tried to tell the operator that we were not seeing anything but they ignored us. Once back on the boat that takes you to the submarine and back our entire side of the submarine relayed our concerns to the crew and received a response of “maybe next time” we would have a better view.
We are on a cruise ship and complained to them and they were told by Atlantis Submarines that we received the same view as the other side of the submarine. THEY LIED!!
Sadly the attached photo is the BEST one that I was able to take!

I went on the tour with UWI and even though we were focused on our work, our guide Xario helped to lighten the mood with some corny jokes

The advertisement says that the group size is 24, but there was more than 40. If everyone onboard was under 100 lbs it may have been fine, but it was very uncomfortable with average size adults.
We were squuezed in much tighter than the middle seat on a budget airplane flight. It would have been great if not if they had moderated the group size for comfort. We did get to see a lot of fish and got down to 130 feet.
