It’s a must do visit, the tour takes about 3.5hours over 2 sites, you need to take photo ID to gain entry with your tickets as you go through what can only be described as airport security. Take a snack as there are only vending machines for coffee and crisps etc which are expensive. The tour is very humbling and informative, the guides very knowledgable.

This was my second visit to Auschwitz. For my first visit, where I took my elderly parents, it was absolutely packed and we were walked at a blistering pace and the tour guide was not particularly sympathetic to my parents needs. Not good for frailer people and I must say, it hindered me being able to totally absorb everything as I was worrying about my parents. However, this time, it was far less busy and we were able to move at a slower pace, and the tour guide, Sofia, was excellent. I was so moved. It is definitely something I would recommend for everyone to do at least once in their lifetime. It is pot luck about the amount of tourists and the speed at which you tour though.

A full day's outing, about an hour and a half on the coach. Two camps to visit with a knowledgeable guide. Be prepared for quit a bit of walking. It's a very popular attraction and at times you seem a little rushed when seeing the different places.

Fantastic from start to finish. Driver very good and on time with clear instructions, and tour guide was knowledgeable.

The visit to Auschwitz-Birkenau state museum was an absolutely incredible trip. I went due to personal reasons and I could not have had a more illuminating time. Peter was a really brilliant driver, he was extremely punctual and helped us with directions and made sure we were not confused. I would absolutely recommend him to everybody who wishes to explore Krakow as he is full of knowledge and willingness to help!

A very sobering experience but something I have always wanted to do and encourage everyone to do. We were picked up from our Airbnb right on time with a really friendly driver. We were in a small van which was quite cramped but it was fine, no documentary shown. Our driver made sure we were taken into the tour and looked after and we were given wristbands to join our tour. Note - the actual museum is not a part of this tour company, the museum is its own institution so it’s a bit luck of the draw to the guide you get. We were lucky and had a great guide - yes, it can feel rushed but the place is of such a huge scale that it can only give you a glimpse. We paid for lunch (note you need cash for this! Our driver took us looking for a cash point on the way back as we didn’t know, thank you!) which was substantial. Very quick break - loo and lunch, before heading to the next stop where you meet the same guide as before. A great option to get you there and back safely!

Slawek was very communicative, prompt, friendly, and attentive. He made sure that the group knew the process each step of the way. Since the museum only had vending machines for food options, he offered to order lunch boxes for a fee (€12) which was a great convenience if you don't plan ahead and pack your own food. The museum tour guide was very informative and detailed. She took a somber tone with her explanations which was appropriate instead of sounding like a recording or rushed. Our small group van that we traveled in mixed with about 3 or 4 other vans so we became a very large group. Once we got our headphones we spent about 2 hours in Auschwitz, then after a short lunch break in the parking lot area, drove to Birkenau a few minutes away and spent a little over an hour there. The whole tour is very heavy and intense, giving more in-depth information. It really is necessary to go here to see in person and hear what happened during the Holocaust. Horrific and heartbreaking.

Easy to book and driver Peter was in contact to confirm pick up arrangements. He was on time and very friendly. We were taken on a mini bus (8 people) to Auschwitz and helped through a security check (where you show your ID) and introduced to our guide for the tour Margaret. We joined with another 3 or 4 groups. Following the Auschwitz tour Peter was waiting with our pre-booked lunch. (Really good value at 50 zlt, we could have shared one between 2) After a short lunch we went back on the mini bus and driven to Birkenau to meet up with Margaret again. Could not fault the organisation and the co-ordination. It was really busy when we went (Easter Week) and you are rushed through. We would have liked more time to look at things and maybe some time at the end on our own as we didn't get to see the wooden huts on the other side of the Birkenau camp. Would definitely recommend booking through and we wouldn't hesitate to use them again

We visited last Wednesday with an 11 year old and a 15 year old. I wanted to write this review as I was apprehensive about taking my youngest and wanted to give advice if you are thinking of taking children (as it says on the website that it is not recommended for under 14’s) We booked online ourselves and made our own way there from Krakow by catching the train. Train is roughly an hour and it’s a good 20 min walk or a couple of mins in a taxi/bus from the station. We were lucky enough to have an absolutely wonderful guide named Michael, he made the whole experience absolutely fascinating, to the point that none of us looked at the time once whilst we were walking round with him. Even though we were moved on from each area quite quickly, I still felt like everything had been explained in detail and there were lots of opportunities to take a minute and really think about the awful things that happened there. I needn’t have worried about taking my 11 year old, she had a basic understanding before about what had happened and found the whole experience very interesting as did my 15 year old. I never want to return to this place but I am so glad that I have visited to pay my respects and to learn things I never knew.

Transport was on time and clean, only down side was not much room. Tour guide was very good and spoke good English.
