Your Itinerary

Alma Temple

This walking tour begins at the Alma Temple. This temple has an interesting and controversial past. Built in the mid 1920s, the building remains a eerie reminder of the scandals of the past. Look for the letters, "KPOF" at the top of the building.

Colorado State Capitol

This building, with it 24 karat gold top, is the crown jewel of Denver. Stand and the 1 mile above sea level marker, and soak in a beautiful view of the Rocky Mountains. So much history.

Denver Art Museum

With over 70,000 works of art, the Denver Art museum, is the largest art museum, between Chicago and the west coast. See the "Big Sweep", otherwise known as the "Giant Dustpan and Broom".

CELL - The Counterterrorism Education Learning Lab

This is an odd museum, at best. Although we don't go in, you will see one of the remaining pieces of the World Trade Center.

Leven Deli Co.

This stop is a chance to try some local flavor. This deli is one of the hidden gems of Denver, but the locals frequent this place. Sit down and get a snack. Their cookies are out of this world. Food and beverages are not included in the tour price.

The tour was an information-filled whirlwind, packed full of history and fun facts. Our tour guide Bill was A+. I’d give him more than 5 stars if possible! Despite pouring rain the entire tour, Bill kept us going with jokes and antidotes, and kept the enthusiasm high despite the cold and wet.

Heather was an excellent tour guide! She knew so much about the city of Denver and was full of energy. We loved this experience!

Bill is an awesome & fun tour guide! I love his energy, he was very knowledgeable about Denver, & he cared about making sure everyone in the group was ok and still enjoying it. I enjoyed the entire tour and I could go for another 2 more hours that day venturing the city. The weather couldn’t have been more perfect. The group was small but we all interacted well. Bill and the others in a group also didn’t mind taking pictures for us.

My wife and I took the best of Denver tour in the summer of 2023. We were the only people on our tour that day so we received a very in-depth, personalized tour vs. the experience with 20 people which generally slows a tour down quite a bit. We had the privilege of having Kim, as our tour guild. Kim is an educator and extremely knowledgeable concerning everything you would need to know about Denver. We experienced the state capitol, The Brown Palace (our favorite of the tour), food at the Levin Deli. and other remarkable buildings that we would have missed if it wasn't for the tour. Having a knowledgeable guide is priceless as they can focus on your personal interests and clarify questions from a native perspective. Thank you, Kim! Steve & Patty Baxter
