The archaeological site of Glanum is very nice to visit, we enjoyed strolling among the ruins of this ancient site. It is fascinating to discover the different infrastructures from the time of the Gauls, the first inhabitants who traded with the Greeks, before the arrival of the Romans. We were able to visit the site ourselves thanks to the presence of a few explanatory panels along the route and the small explanatory leaflet given at reception.

The site, ok. An ancient site. Nice but nothing exceptional. It is mainly to express my dissatisfaction with the parking that I am writing this comment, even if I know that it is the town hall of St-Rémy which manages the parking and not the site. Because it's a real scam! It's a vacant lot rather than a parking lot and you are forced to pay a ticket for EIGHT HOURS!!!!!! IT'S INCREDIBLE. You must pay €4 for eight hours. Pure and simple fraud. As if we were going to stay 8 hours visiting ancient ruins... And even if we take a walk in the surrounding area, which is entirely possible, it won't last 8 hours. We should have the possibility of reducing the duration. And what's more, please, obviously, unlike all car parks, this one is chargeable 365 days a year..... Well done Saint-Rémy de Provence!!!!
