Lake Barrine

Here we overlook the stunning natural crater lake surrounded by lush rainforest. We enjoy a delicious breakfast of local produce and local coffee and tea in the original Victorian Tea house.

Rainforest Bounty

A private property to enjoy a tasting of their tropical Indigenous products they make whilst sitting in the river pavilion overlooking the Johnstone River.

The Australian Platypus Park at Tarzali Lakes

Australian Platypus Park at Tarzali Lakes These wonderful creatures can be found in a spring fed pond, we take a wonder down to see them in this magnificent setting then sit down to a unique lunch. The lunch is produced onsite using their smoked products and include Crocodile, Red Claw (Yabby) Kangaroo, Smoked chicken and smoked Spanish Mackerel, the a choice of Platypus boutique beer or Dragon Fruit cider and a Lemon Myrtle tea.

We now head towards the historic village of Atherton. Driving through this thriving hub, a patchwork of amazing farmland and rolling green hills appear before us. We are on our way to a fully operational dairy farm spread across 1000 acres of rich red volcanic soil with delicious handcrafted chocolates and a gourmet cheese factory.

Mt. Uncle Distillery

Here we stop for a tasting of some award winning spirits and enjoy the beautiful gardens and friendly animals.

Jaques Coffee Plantation

Next stop Jaques Family Coffee Plantation. They grow and roast Australian Arabica Coffee beans in the rich soils of the Tablelands. Relax and take in the remarkable locations whilst learning the insight of the finer details of coffee from tree to cup. Enjoy a coffee and liqueur tasting platter with homemade Lemonade scones with local jam and cream.

Emerald Creek Ice-Creamery

If Jaques Coffee plantation is closed we will stop here for a cup of Jaques local coffee, scones with local jam and cream and a taste of some unique flavours of ice cream and sorbet

Humpy Nut World

Stop at ‘The Humpy’, the best place to go to for freshly harvested Atherton Tablelands produce straight from the growers. From vegetables to tropical fruits and hundreds of different varieties of nuts, dried fruits locally produced jams and sauces. Taste some seasonal fruits and many different flavours of hot local peanuts and macadamia nuts.
