Your Itinerary

Diamond Head State Monument

Have you ever thought you would be driving on the exact same road that Amelia Earhart used as her runway in 1935? Well, that is our FIRST stop! Diamondhead lookout is an amazing location that offers panoramic views of the southern shore of Oahu and Waikiki!

Kahala

(Pass by)

Sometimes it is good to dream and day dreaming is what most of us will be doing as we pass by the luxurious neighborhood of Kahala wherein the Sony Open is played every year. The estates here will have most of us rethinking our life choices.

Halona Blowhole

Halona Blowhole. Halona means “Of Happy Fortune” this amazing sight is one of just three in the world! And what happy fortune we have to be able to show it to YOU!

Sandy Beach Park

(Pass by)

Cruzen over to Makapu’u Lookout we will be passing by the most sought out bodysurfing beach on the island-even by presidents; Sandy Beach! Don’t let the smaller waves fool you, that water is ruff!

Hanauma Bay Nature Preserve

(Pass by)

Some call this place “The Dragon” These cliffs whereupon The Dragon lay will loosen the jaw in awe! I’m sure your tour guide will be more than happy to explain way! Well, SHOW you why! It’s an amazing site! Unfortunately this place is closed to commercial vehicles. However, you can still see The Dragon!

Byodo-In Temple

If you are into meditation and/or calm energy you will absolutely love the Byodo-Inn Temple. Black Swans glide effortlessly across the steady waters of its extensive Koi pond. There is a fee, but worry not, we have you covered!

North Shore

Are you hungry yet? Well, you will be. And what better place to get lunch than the North Shores’ Fumis shrimp truck! These generously sized shrimp has taste you will call home about. If you are not a shrimp eater it’s completely okay; there are other options. Including a very inviting Vegetarian noodle plate that might have you driving to the north shore for more the next day!

North Shore

Now, let us get those swimsuits on! If you don’t want to swim or snorkel it is completely fine; there is plenty enough shade to stretch, relax and read that favorite book! Don’t forget; the snorkel gear is FREE to rent!

Makapu'u Point

Cliff walking anyone? of course it is completely up to you; you can always stay on the safe side of the railing and still get to see an amazing view. Makapu’u Lookouts’ amazing cliffs make a feast for your eyes. Not only because it means “bulging eye” in Hawaiian, either.

Waimea Bay

(Pass by)

The very first place a foreigner landed in Hawaii was here in the 1700's! That was Capitan Cook and his crew. Waimea Bay is beyond majestic. From the beautiful, rainforest kissed cliffs that surround it to the proud protruding rock in the center. You will see nothing but beauty.

Sunset Beach

(Pass by)

The original Hawaiian name for this place is Paumalū. Sunset Beach is known for big wave surfing during the winter season and I mean BIG. Keep your eyes open, you may see some surfers on the tops of the waves!

Haleiwa Town Center

Let us time travel back to the 1800’s. Back to a little place now called Historic Haleiwa Town. Matsumoto’s Shave Ice isn’t the only thing cool about this place! Just wait and see!

Dole Plantation

Our last location is sweet to say the least; The Dole Plantation. Home of the world famous, oh yes, DOLE WHIP. Ask your Guide how you can win a FREE one!

North Shore Macadamia Nut Company

Food and beach usually equates to a long nap but not yet! We are headed to the North Shore Macadamia Nut Farm! And yes, there are FREE samples of both macadamia nuts AND coffee!

We took the 13 passenger Circle Tour. We really enjoyed it. We had several stops such as a blowhole where waves splash up through a hole in the rocky shore. We visited the beach where “From Here to Eternity” was filmed and Also drove by the location where Jurassic Park was filmed. We also saw Keanu Reeves home and the home of relative and body double of Dwayne Johnson, The Rock which on occasion, The Rock has been seen visiting. We saw the famous North Shore of surfing fame and visited a Macadamia Nut plantation as well as the Dole Pineapple Plantation and a Buddhist Temple. Overall, the 8 hour trip was very interesting and enjoyable and our tour guide was fun, knowledgeable and a safe driver.

I am so happy that I picked this tour. I read all the reviews of other tours, booked 2, cancelled 2 and decided on this one. Ryan, our guide also the owner was so engaging, entertaining and attentive. He made sure he got everyone's name right. He ordered lunch for us ahead of time (other tours were lining up to buy lunch). The tour is 10 hours, we went everywhere! Book this tour! I highly recommend it.

Other than the scenery, the best part of our experience was our guide, Tyrone. He was personable, friendly, knowledgeable and had a great sense of humor. We appreciated his personal experiences related to living in Hawaii. He also provided excellent tips on places to visit on our own. It made the tour a wonderful experience for us. The tour itself was well organized. It had a flow that was enjoyable. The stops were timed appropriately, and we didn't feel rushed. Our only concern was the van was not as comfortable as we would prefer. The seats were a bit cramped and exiting the van was sometimes a challenge.

We had such a great time on this tour! It is an excellent way to see a lot in a short amount of time. Very special kudo to our guide: Anna. She has so much knowledge to share along the drive that time flies. She is also super nice and communicate her passion!

The tour was excellent, and our tour guide Tyron was great! We were in the 'karaoke' bus, Tryon had us singing along throughout the day. The tour took us to many of the popular tourist attractions around the island of Oahu. Highlights included the garlic butter shrimps for lunch as well as Dole plantation and snorkelling at Turtle Bay

Worth the day to see the real island! The guide we had was P.E she was excellent! We saw all the cool sites, also a visit to a private beach resort to snorkel or just to a dip! Saw all historic beaches. Sunset, pipeline, wiamia bay. Some temple which I thought I was in Japan very nice. Also dole plantation. Recommend if you want to see the real island!

The Oahu Circle Tour was enjoyable, as well as our bus driver, Trey. One pain point was the fact that the North Shore (Turtle Bay Resort) stop for snorkeling was not the best place to view turtles, as well as the fact that the weather was overcast and drizzling. This particular stop could've been shortened, if the bus driver would've taken a poll of the passengers to see if they actually were going swimming. I don't think anyone did, and there wasn't much to do at the resort except wander around and kill time. We could've spent that time at the other remaining stops. It would've been nice to have more time at the Dole Plantation and less time at the Macadamia Nut Store. It was very nice with the smaller group.
