You will meet our guide on Revolution Square and will start your walking tour exploring the Revolution Square with a view of the Royal Palace, the Romanian Athenaeum and the Headquarter of the Romanian Communist Party, where the Romanian Revolution started in December 1982. Walk towards the University Square, where you can admire the building of the second-oldest modern university in Romania, or the neo-classical building of the first hospital from Bucharest, Coltea Hospital. Here you will see a shrine dedicated to victims of the Romanian Revolution. On your way to the Old Town, we will pass by the elegant neo-gothic Sutu Palace, which now houses a small museum dedicated to Bucharest. Very close by, you will enjoy a very nice stroll through the Old Town, one of the highlights of Bucharest, an area with small, narrow streets, shops, pubs, bars and nightclubs. We will pass by the Old Princely Court, the residence of many rulers of old Wallachia, including Vlad the 3rd, also known as Dracula.
