Join me on this two hour private boat tour as we ride through Folly Beach's most pristine marshlands on our way to Morris Island. As we cruise the estuary, we will be on the lookout for our local wildlife that inhabit the area including bottlenose dolphins, bald eagles, osprey, pelicans, or a sea turtle. We land at Morris Island where you will enjoy a quiet beach only accessible by boat where you can look for seashells, sand dollars, whelks, shark teeth, and more. Morris island is the best place to take photos of the historic Morris Island Lighthouse. You will have over an hour to explore at your own pace before getting back on the boat for the trip back. This trip is for up to six guests. Trips are customizable to meet the needs of our guests.

Cannot recommend this experience enough! My husband and I had the best time and both agree this was the favorite part of our entire vacation. We can’t wait to do this again with Captain Jim. Captain Jim was so friendly, knowledgeable, and made the experience so wonderful. He got us up close with dolphins and shared some very interesting facts. Not only was the boat ride relaxing, but visiting Morris Island was a truly unique experience. We got to collect shells, view wildlife and even see a sailboat. It’s about an hour long boat ride to the island (filled with dolphin viewing), an hour to walked the island, and about a half hour back. Such a fun and lovely experience and so thankful we had Captain Jim to guide us!

What a wonderful experience! We went as a family of 5, and had the boat, and Captain Jim, to ourselves! We saw so many dolphins, learned so much about the animals and waterways, and found a ton of neat shells and shark teeth. Morris Island was great, with a neat ship wreck and many nesting birds. Would HIGHLY recommend this experience!

Wow where to even start. Captain Jim was the absolute highlight of our trip! His knowledge of the area was astounding, and he shared fascinating facts about the dolphins and the local ecosystem. He made sure everyone on board had a fantastic time, stopping the boat for us to simply enjoy watching the playful pods of dolphins. His thoughtfulness extended to providing a cooler for drinks and snacks, and even bags for us to bring back our seashell treasures from Morris Island. We felt safe and well-cared for under his guidance, and it was undoubtedly the highlight of our Charleston vacation.

Captain Jim was a great host. He was attentive, knowledgeable, and friendly. He gave us some fun facts and made sure we were having a great time. We had a blast. We had fun at the beach and saw many dolphins. I recommend this tour to anyone. Very reasonable price too. Boat was comfortable and very clean. Thanks Captain Jim for a great time!

Our caption was filled with knowledge and very personable. His boat is amazing and so COMFORTABLE. We saw so many dolphins and he was able to tell us something new each time we saw a different group of dolphins. Morris island was amazing . We did 1 hour in water and 1 hour at the island and it was perfect. My 2 year old had a blast !! I would do this everyday if I could .

We booked a private cruise of the Charleston Harbor and Morris Island. The boat was soooo comfortable and clean. Captain Jim went out of his way to make our day perfect! Definitely recommend this boat service. We will be back.
